Dami Marshal, daughter of Fuji musician KWAM 1, has denied romantic rumors about her and Afrobeats singer Asake.
Speculation arose after a video showed them together at a club while one of Asake’s songs played.

The rumors gained traction on social media following the video’s release.

Dami Marshal, the daughter of Fuji musician King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (KWAM 1), has denied rumours linking her romantically to Afrobeats singer Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake or Mr Money.

The speculation began circulating on social media after a video emerged showing Asake enjoying a club moment with KWAM 1’s daughter while one of his tracks played.

An Instagram blog, sharing the video, claimed that Dami and the singer had “gone public with their relationship.” The post read: “Media personality Dami Marshall and Asake go public with their ‘relationship’.”

Late Sunday, February 8, Dami Marshal, a celebrity lawyer and Senior Special Assistant on Tourism to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, addressed the incident. She revealed that it was her first time meeting the singer and that she simply chose to take a photo with him. She also clarified that she is not dating Asake.

“Guys, that was my first time meeting him, so I took a picture. Do not believe blogs, they can do anything for traffic. And I am not a media personality, I am a legal practitioner, currently serving as SSA to Mr Gov. Address me well next time,” she wrote in a series of posts on her Instagram page.
