
Gov Eno Gifts Visually Impaired Gospel Singer Chris Vic, Land, House, ₦100M Studio, N1 Million Monthly Allowance
Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno has announced a comprehensive support package for visually impaired gospel singer Chris Vic, describing his gesture as recognition of the artiste’s resilience and ministry.
Speaking on Sunday, the governor said he has directed the Commissioner for Lands to allocate a plot in Uyo to the singer, adding that he will personally sign the Certificate of Occupancy next week.
The governor also approved the construction of a four bedroom flat for Chris Vic and his family. In a separate commitment, he said the state has earmarked ₦100 million for the establishment of a fully equipped music studio to support the artiste’s work.
Governor Eno further pledged a monthly allowance of ₦1 million to the singer for the duration of his administration.
He noted that Chris Vic’s story and music have inspired many Nigerians, describing the gesture as an acknowledgment of his faith and perseverance.
The announcement follows recent public attention on Chris Vic after his performance and testimony went viral.
