Ghanaian Man Relocates To Germany After Applying For A Welding Position He Saw On WhatsApp, Gets Free Accommodation

As shared by Ghanaian blogger, Edward Asare who’s presently on vacation at Germany. He interviewed the young man named Joe.

Joe is a Technical University graduate from Ghana who casually applied for an opportunity he saw on WhatsApp.
He wasn’t expecting much — but that simple decision changed his life.

He applied for a welding position in Germany and was invited for an interview through the #Azubi initiative by @AHKGhana . After he passed, they told him:
“Just learn the language and leave your move to Germany to us.”

Joe went on to pass the required German B1 language exam, and soon after, he relocated to Germany to join M Group as a welder.

The company provided accommodation and enrolled him in Germany’s Dual Education Program, where he works and studies at the same time — a hallmark of the German vocational training system.

Today, Joe is fully integrated, working, learning, and thriving.

This is the kind of structured, life-changing opportunity that #Ghana2Germany offers — turning casual applications into global careers.

A big thank you to the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Ghana for making stories like Joe’s possible.
