Ghanaian Man Based In Canada Shares Throwback Photo From 2016, Displaying The Bench He Slept On Working As A Carpenter, Says God Can Change Any Story

Ghanaian man named Peter Bawuah based In Canada has shared a throwback photo from 2016 displaying the bench he slept on during his struggling days working as a carpenter in a small shop .

Peter went on to encourage everyone going through hard days, says the pain you’re feeling now is not the end.

Sharing before and after photos on Facebook, he wrote :

“In 2016, this bench was my bed. I slept here—under the open sky—not because I wanted to, but because I was chasing something greater: an education, a future, a life beyond struggle. I took this picture back then, not out of pride, but because I knew one day it would speak for others who are still fighting silently.

I started from a small carpenter’s shop bench in Accra. That’s where my journey began. No spotlight. No comfort. Just faith, focus, and a relentless will to rise.

No privilege. No applause. Just grit, grace, and God.

And let me tell you this: God can change any story. But He works with your hands, your discipline, your mind and your heart. It won’t be easy, but it will be worth it.

To every young man or woman with no support:
I see your struggle.

You may feel invisible. Forgotten. You may be doing all you can, yet seeing no results. I know the pain of silent tears, the weight of unanswered prayers, the ache of wanting more while having less.

But please—don’t give up.

The pain you’re feeling now is not the end. It’s a chapter. The tears, the hunger, the long nights—they are not in vain. They are shaping you. Preparing you.

Be focused, but also be patient.
Remain resolute—but don’t be afraid to bend, to learn, to grow.

Because joy is coming. And when it arrives, you’ll look back and understand that the struggle was never a punishment. It was preparation.

Let your story be your strength. And one day, like me, you’ll tell it—not with pain, but with power.

Today, if I tell you what God has done for me you wont believe. Very soon I share one of the powerful testimonies in my life.

The arrow of wisdom🎉❤️”.
