Ghanaian CEOs Under 30 Jointly Offer Full Scholarship To 4 University Students

Lawrence Fianko and Emmanuel Nyame, both Ghanaian business owners in their 20s are sponsoring four brilliant but needy students through university.

According to myjoyonline.com, the duo set up EduCom.World to help deserving students, especially in rural areas, pursue their college education.

It is reported that this time, EduCom got a whopping 198 applications out of which four were selected for full tuition and residence fees and were also presented with a laptop each.

The list includes Fatimah Basiru of the University for Development Studies, Michael Naab from the University for Development Studies, Richard Owusu Asare of the University of Cape Coast, and Christabel Konadu Osei from the University of Ghana.

Michael, one of the beneficiaries who has been admitted to UCC revealed that his father who was a cocoa farmer and the breadwinner passed on and his dreams of becoming a medical doctor were dimmed until now. “I lost all hopes to move towards my aspirations, but for the timely intervening of EduCom,” the medical student stated.
