Nigerians express disappointment at DJ Cuppy for offering to sponsor young girl’s education, says her parents are rich already.

Billionaire daughter Florence Otedola popularly called DJ Cuppy has shown how large-hearted she is by offering to sponsor the education of a young girl.

Through her Cuppy Foundation, the Gelato crooner sponsors some less-privileged people’s education while also donating to the poor in her capacity.

But recently, the photo of an unnamed young girl caught her attention and she vowed to take care of her education.

The young girl’s mother identified as @DrMom_Cooks had taken to her page on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter, to share a photo of her daughter.

In the photo, the young girl was rocking pink-coloured braids as she sat before a laptop studying. The mom noted that class was in progress and no one should make a noise.

On sighting the photo, DJ Cuppy declared the young girl as her own next generation. She dropped her email address and said that the parents of the young girl should get across to her as she would love to sponsor her education.

Although the DJ did not specifically mention what attracted her to the girl, many guessed it was because of the pink hair on her. DJ Cuppy is known to be a lover of pink hair and it has been her signature for a very long time.

Meanwhile, not many Nigerians were excited at the entertainer’s generosity, especially to a girl whose parents they said are rich. A peek into the girl’s mother’s page shows that she is a medical doctor in South Africa and also a brand ambassador to a lifestyle company.
