Despite Losing His Son At Birth Last Year While Preparing For His Final ICAN Exam, He Was Officially Inducted As A Chartered Accountant.
Congratulations are in order for a young Nigerian man named Innocent Istifanus Moses as he was recently inducted as a Chartered Accountant.
Moses shared the challenges he encountered while studying for his final ICAN exams, he lost his son at birth last year and despite the emotional trauma, he still passed his exams.
Sharing on Facebook, he wrote:
“I dedicate this milestone to our son, whom we lost last year at birth, while I was actively preparing for my final ICAN examination.
It was the toughest season of our lives as a family.
I was shattered. My wife was broken.
And preparing for that exam felt almost impossible.
There were nights I cried while reading. We even stopped sleeping in our bedroom and moved to the study room, just so I could focus, even a little.
I tried everything to get a refund. I wasn’t ready, emotionally or mentally. I just wanted to breathe.
But in the middle of that storm, I still sat for the exams.
I walked in with doubt…
But when the results came out, I saw my name on the list of qualified candidates.
I am officially inducted as a Chartered Accountant.
A dream that started years ago, with sacrifice, sleepless nights, and relentless pursuit, has finally become a reality.
From juggling work, studies, grief, and mental exhaustion… every step was heavy.
But God came through. And here we are.
A special thanks to my wife Church Girl for standing strong with me and encouraging me to push through, even when she herself was grieving.
To everyone who encouraged me, prayed for me, and stood by me, thank you.
Ladies and gentlemen, behold…”.
