CEO of Ebonyi Life Place, Mo Abudu has outlined all her achievements starting from age 40.

Says she’s not even done yet because there’s still much more to come. The serial entrepreneur disagrees that life begins at 40 says life really kicks into gear at 60.

Sharing her achievements on Instagram beginning from age 40, she wrote:

This post isn’t about boasting -its about boldness. Too often, we women downplay our journeys. But it’s your birthright to dream big- at any age.

I began my hospitality and media journey at 40 with no experience – just passion, purpose and faith. And here’s what unfolded over 20 years, scroll to have a look!

40-Pritea Hotel Oakwood park- The fitst purpose built Protea hotel in Nigeria.

40- Moments with Mo- Africa’s 1st daily syndicated talk show. I had the joy of interviewing incredible guests and the franchise later birthed Moments and Moments Z with co-host across the continent.

49- Ebonylife TV- a bold beautiful black global chanel from Nigeria. We created culture- shaping shows like The Spot, EL Now. The Governor, Castle & Castle, Ojo’s in the House and Desperate Housewives Africa and more.

50- EbonyLifeFilms- launched with FIFTY and followed with block busters like the The Wedding Party, Chief Daddy, Your Excellency, Oloture, The Royal Hibiscus Hotel amongst others.

53 EbonyLifePlace Lagos- Nigeria’s first luxury entertainment resort. Home to The White Hotel, Turaka, Jinja, EbonyLifeCinemas and more

56 EbonyLife Creative Academy -empowering the next generation of storytellers through world-class film and acting courses

58- Mo Abudu Films- Wrote & directed Her Perfect Life & Iyawo Mi. Both films went for Oscar consideration and were official selections at Cannes Short Film Corner, HollyShorts, Martha’s Vineyard and others.

60 – EbonyLifePlace London – the UK’s first African cinema and a creative hub for African film, fashion, food and culture.

Every chapter was a leap of faith, And by his special grace- I’m not done yet. There’s still so much more to come.

They say life begin at 40 and maybe it does. But if you ask me- it really kicks into gear at 60.
