At 14 He Invented A New Surgical Technique Called The “Hansberry Stitch” Which Helps Surgeons Reduce The Time It Takes To Perform Hysterectomies

Tony is a prodigy in the medical field.

2LT Tony Hansberry II, USA back in 2019, came up with a surgical technique that help surgeons reduce the time it takes to perform hysterectomies.

Tony studied chemistry at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in 2012 with high hopes of becoming a trauma surgeon and making a difference in the lives of others.

He also took up advanced classes in medicine at the Darnell-Cookman school, where medical school students master suturing in eighth grade.

Hansberry Stitch got him a seat at a medical education event held at the University of Florida where he presented his project alongside other physicians.

He is currently a Medical Student at Morehouse School of Medicine.
