‘Any Woman Not In Her Husband’s House Isn’t A Queen’ — Portable Criticises Actress Iyabo Ojo For Her Recent Comments Celebrating Single Motherhood
Portable, the controversial singer, has criticised actress Iyabo Ojo for her recent comments celebrating single motherhood.
The controversy began when Iyabo, in a widely circulated video, declared that the stigma once attached to single mothers is now a thing of the past.
The actress, who humorously anointed herself the “President General of the Single Mothers Association,” argued that single mothers are not only thriving but are also highly sought after.
“Gone are the days that being a single mother was a stigma. Single mother’s kids are achieving greatness,” she said.
Portable reacted to Ojo’s assertions in a series of Instagram posts. The singer dismissed Ojo’s claims, countering that married women are the ones who achieve true success.
The singer argued that glorifying single motherhood sends a harmful message to younger women about relationships and family planning.
