After Several Job Rejections, Man Lands Job At Twitter, Says “The Interview Process Was Interesting”

A young man named Thomas O. has just announced that he accepted an offer with Twitter, says the interview process was interesting.

He went further to thank his friends who motivated him when he got rejections from other companies.

Sharing the amazing testimony on LinkedIn, he wrote:

I am thrilled to announce that I accepted an offer to join Twitter this summer 2022 as a Twitter Engineer intern.

It also brings me great joy to know that I will be working on Software Engineering in service of Machine Learning, a fine balance of what I’ve always wanted 😁.

The interview process was interesting. I was opportune to meet very smart senior ML engineers and software engineers. They were really chilled and engaging. It was fun because they exposed me to the kinds of projects they do and how they solve problems.

I wasn’t only interviewed on solving problems, but I got to learn from them too how they solve real-life problems at Twitter. Cool stuff!!

I would like to appreciate my manager, Teresa Martyny who has been amazing and very encouraging. She’s very supportive and It excites me to know that I will be working with her team(my fellow Tweeps😅). I can’t wait to meet them! I would also like to thank my recruiter Davina Nguyen.

She really does an amazing job in recruiting- prompt in responding and helpful information.

A special thank you to all my friends who have been motivating me and pushing me despite the rejections from some companies. I guess it’s fair to say “never give up, keep pushing” 😅. It’s been an amazing journey.
