Popular Nigerian media personality Nedu Wazobia publicly expressed his disappointment that Wazobia FM failed to host a send-off ceremony for him when he resigned, despite his having worked at the radio station for over 13 years.
Popular Nigerian media personality and comedian, Nedu Wazobia, has publicly shared his disappointment regarding his departure from Wazobia FM, where he worked for over a decade.
Nedu, known for his unique style of humor and vibrant on-air presence, revealed that despite dedicating over 13 years to the radio station, his resignation was met with silence, and he was not accorded a send-off ceremony.
The personality, whose real name is Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, made the disclosure recently while speaking about his career transitions. He lamented the absence of a formal acknowledgment for his long service, stating:
“I worked in Wazobia for 13 years plus and when I resigned, they didn’t even do me a send-forth…”
Nedu’s long tenure at Wazobia FM cemented his status as one of the country’s most recognizable voices in radio.
