– A blind man was gifted a house by a local businessman

– The man previously lived in a shack

– The visually impaired man expressed gratitude for the blessing from the good Samaritan

A blind man finally has a roof over his head after a kind businessman donated a fully-furnished one-room house to him. The 75-year-old had struggled for years to get a decent house.

Businessman Ishwar Ramlutchman has changed the life of a South African resident for the better after handing over a new house to him. The new house has a toilet and tap water inside.

Macaleni Gumede survives with an old age grant and is visually impaired. He uses most of his pension grant to pay people who help him as he lives alone. The new homeowner expressed joy at his new place of residence, saying:

“If I die today, I am sure my spirit will join my ancestors, because I am now living a in a decent house.”

He went on to say that he experienced difficulty using an outside toilet because of his condition.

“I was living a shameful life, living in a shack.”

He has wished blessings on the good Samaritan who put him in a proper home.

“It is very painful that I can’t even see him, I can only hear his voice, but God will bless him.”

Ramlutchman challenged other businessmen and people of influence to assist the needy.

“We will continue to help the poorest of the poor as long as we have the ability to do so.”

In other news, Legit.ng reported on the pathetic story of a blind old man and his son who live in a sorry state.

A social media user identified as Eunice Ugonwa placed a cry for help on social media on behalf of a visually impaired man and his son, who are both living in what could be best described as a worrisome condition.

According to Ugonwa who disclosed that she visited him along with a friend, the old man revealed that he could not sleep some nights ago because the same room that serves as his shop and living apartment was flooded by rain.
