
My Role In ‘Ada Omo Daddy’ Inspired By True Life Story — Mercy Aigbe
Popular actress and movie producer, Mercy Aigbe, has said that ‘Aunty Motun’, her character in the movie, ‘Ada Omo Daddy’, was inspired by someone in her family.
In an interview with Sunday Scoop, she said, “Playing Aunty Motun in the movie was a privilege that hit close to home. My character was inspired by my own aunt, who selflessly supported our family through thick and thin. Her unwavering dedication is a childhood memory I’ll always treasure
“I am proud to have been part of such a film with impressive production values and a relatable storyline that speaks to many people’s experiences.”
Stating that the movie explores themes that resonate with her, Aigbe added, “The movie explores themes that resonate deeply with me, particularly the importance of forgiveness, family unity, and giving people second chances. I believe these messages will touch the hearts of many viewers and inspire meaningful conversations.”
Opening up about the scene in the movie that moved her the most, the stylish actress said, “One scene that still moves me is the emotional handover of the bride from her father to her deadbeat biological father. It was a powerful moment that struck a chord and left a lasting impression.”
