Uzor Arukwe: How I built Chemistry With Achalugo In ‘Love In Every Word’

Uzor Arukwe, the Nigerian actor, has shared his experience working with co-star Bamike ‘BamBam’ Olawunmi on the movie ‘Love In Every Word‘.

In a recent interview with Arise TV, Arukwe praised BamBam’s “exceptional talent” and “professionalism,” which he said made it easy for him to build the necessary chemistry for their roles.

The film, produced by Omoni Oboli, tells the story of Chioma (BamBam) and Obiora (Arukwe) as they navigate their whirlwind romance.

Arukwe’s character repeatedly calls BamBam’s character ‘Achalugo,’ a heartfelt expression of his admiration and affection.

During the interview, Arukwe also credited the director’s emphasis on making the intimate scenes convincing, which further enhanced their synergy.

“BamBam is a phenomenal actress. She is one of the best actresses I have starred with. That was my first time of encountering her and I would say she is phenomenal,” he said.

“I have starred with a lot of people and I feel like what make you a good actor is your ability to build chemistry with people, make it realistic, as honest and vulnerable as possible.

“We had a brief before the movie. The director spoke to us and told us there is not a lot of nudity and sex in the film so the few scenes we have to show intimacy wants to be sold as much as possible.

“So, I look at BamBam and she said we are good to go. She is phenomenal and I would love to work with her even more.”
