Nigerian Lady Based In Canada Shares How Her Dad Provided Everything She Needed, Says She Never Looked Up To Anyone To Cater For Her Needs Aside Her Parents.
Nigerian lady named Chisom Chigbo based in Canada has shared a throwback photo with her dad remembering the days when he pampered her. Chisom shared fond memories of her Dad and how he provided everything she ever needed. She added that there was never a time she looked up to to anyone to provide her needs aside her Parents.
Chisom also emphasized the role of a father in the life of a girl child, that when she’s well taken care of, material things won’t mean anything to her.
Sharing on Facebook, she wrote;
“Leave that girl alone!
This is what anyone that dares to ask Chisom to lift a pin at home will hear, my dad would roar LEAVE THAT GIRL ALONE whenever someone asks me to do anything and I decline.
The earliest memories I have of my childhood is playing a lot of games with my dad, and lying in bed every morning with him after morning prayers while others do their chores.
He would light up his torchlight 🔦 and I will keep trying to blowing out the light till he switches it off, and in my little mind I would rejoice thinking that I blew it out myself.
I also remember him carrying me on his shoulders while we stroll to cenapo supermarket in okigwe to go buy some things, and he would let me pick all the candies I wanted.
Another sentence I heard quite a lot from my dad was YOUR WISH IS MY COMMAND. What ever I ask of him he would do it for me.
I grew up knowing that my dad will give me anything I wanted and he sure did to the best of his abilities. I was a very satisfied and contented young adult, I never looked up to anyone to cater for my needs aside my parents.
I am called odudunwa Mike for a reason😍; odudu =tail, nwa= child, and this translates to LASTBORN, Mike’s lastborn😁. Oya thank me for the translation .
What is the essence of this post? Every female (male as well) child needs the presence of an involved father figure in her life, if a girl child is nurtured right she won’t be carried away because of material things.
A father figure mustn’t be a biological father.
