Nigerian Lady Shares How They Provided Diesel To Power Generator For Her Cousin To Be Incubated For 3 Months At The Hospital

A lady named Ouiowoh on X with x handle @anita Izato has responded to a tweet by Aproko Doctor that reads:

“Patient relatives allegedly bringing generators into a teaching hospital just so patients can get treatment shows just how much rot there is in our healthcare system.

How?

The lady narrated briefly how her cousin who was inside an incubator for 3 months got saved as they provided fuel to power the generator for her in year 2022 when she was born.

She wrote:

“My two year old cousin had to be incubated for 3 months!

We bought fuel to power the generator used for the incubator! Us and the other parents who had children there!

Everyday parents brought 10-20 Litres of fuel. They rotated.

Calabar UCTH. This happened in 2022″.
