“She Brought Her Land Documents To The Hospital And Amended Her Will Few Days To The Surgery”- Nigerian Lady Celebrates Mum’s Successful Major Surgery She Had A Year Ago

Nigerian lady named Datoyo with x handle @heyitzpearl has shared how God healed her mom after a major surgery just a year ago. Her mom didn’t believe she would make it and at some point her oxygen level dropped, the machine was steadily on red.

Datoyo narrated how her mom didn’t gain consciousness for 24 hours and she had to sing worship songs. Today she’s celebrating one year of her mum being alive.

Sharing photos on X, she wrote:

“Today makes it one year since my mother had a major procedure.

I started last year in tears . You see , i am an only child and the responsibility i carry is a lot .

My mom has been ill for a while and last year we decided she goes for the procedure. It was hard convincing her to agree but eventually she did .

Financially , i was drained . I spent so much money and lost count . My savings saved me at some point . 😂

The surgery was supposed to take two hours tops but it took them over 6 hours .

Need i mention the negative scenarios that played in my head or the things she told me before being wheeled in .

Tell me why this woman brought her land documents to the hospital and amended her will few days to the surgery ? Or was she thinking she won’t make it alive ? I won’t lie , i feared so at some point . 🤦🏽‍♀️

This story won’t be complete without my friends. One of them left her 3 months old baby and stayed with me in the hospital until the surgery was done . These ladies held my hands in prayers when i couldn’t utter a word . They worshipped and praised , they called on God and he answered us .

After the surgery , she was taken to the recovery, it was here that i felt I’d lose her . Her oxygen level dropped and the machine was steadily on red . My cousin who is a medical doctor who was on FaceTime call with me keep screaming “ jesussss, aunty you shall not die , koko get the doctors please ”.

See , i cried till i started laughing.

Over 24 hours, my mother hadn’t regained consciousness and her pulse was unsteady .

At some point , i just played worship songs and sang along because humanly i was exhausted to the last and my brain was not functioning properly.

A day after the surgery , she opened her eye and by the end of that day , she attempted speaking even though her speech wasn’t clear .

The doctors did an excellent job . Overall , God showed up and showed off for us .

I’m thankful to have her here .
