‘Everybody Loves Jenifa’ Is Highest-Grossing Film In West Africa With N1.6BN

Funke Akindele’s latest movie, has become the highest-grossing movie of all time in West Africa, grossing an impressive N1.6 billion just one month after its release.

FilmOne Studios, the entertainment company, announced the latest achievement in an Instagram post on Monday.

“A billy gang, we’re up! Everybody Loves Jennifer has grossed over 1.6 billion Naira at the box office!” the post reads.

“We can’t thank you enough for showing this movie all your love!”

Akindele also took to her Instagram page to celebrate the feat while thanking God and her fans.

“Na God do am. I am so grateful to you all. I no know wetin I go write again,” she wrote.

‘Everybody Loves Jenifa’ is also Nollywood’s highest-grossing movie of all time.
