Nigerian man named Toyyib Adewale Adelodun has shared his experience after he bumped into Sir Ben Wallace, a former UK government minister, who was defence secretary for 4 years. The Nigerian man based in the UK shares how he cannot count the number of politicians he has seen in public transport, says “A developed country is where everyone (voter and minister) use public transport”

Sharing a photo with the minister on X, he wrote:

“I recently bumped into Sir Ben Wallace, a former UK government minister, who was defence secretary for 4 years.

We were both standing on opposite sides of the train, so I walked over to say hello.

I have lost count of the number of politicians I have seen on public transport. Very normal in this part of the world.

“A developed country is where everyone (voter and minister) use public transport”
