Why I Won’t Stop Paying Tithe- By Elora Akpotosevbe

I remember vividly 18 years ago when I started paying my Tithe, I just resumed at my very first job after my youth service at a shipping company as a secretary and all I can say is God has been with me the whole time.

What are the benefits of Tithing? God will always make away for you, tithers don’t lack. I ve also escaped death four times, because the bible says he would rebuke the devourers for your sake, Malachi 3 11. Yes when you pay your tithe God adverts bad situations for you, it could be an accident, it could be arm robbery attack. If you ve to go through a surgery because of an accident you were involved in and spend millions on surgeries, that’s a devourer.

I laugh when I see people trying to find an avenue to avoid tithing after Papa Adeboye post about his apology on tithing. He had said those who don’t pay tithe would not make heaven, and he later apologized .

Many were quick to conclude that tithing it’s not important. Do you know the tough situations you could ve found yourself in, but God averted it for you.

My house got burnt year 2006, I was caught up in the fire, God woke me up from sleep in the mid night, the fire had consumed the whole kitchen coming all the way to my bedroom, but God woke me up, I ran to my landlord and he acted really fast, brought his fire extinguisher, put off the fire, it could ve been worst, what if I was burnt in my face? Tithing for me is everything and I can’t but count my blessings.

My family and I never slept in the hospital for how many years, more than three decades.

If you don’t find reason to pay your tithe well it’s your cup of tea, I will pay my tithe forever.
