“Elon’s Money Will Be Shared”- Nigeria’s Luckiest Woman, Deborah Olaki Plans To Gift Money Realized From Her Handle To The Orphanages
Nigeria’s luckiest woman, Deborah Olaki, who became a social media sensation after her post on the microblogging website, X, stating how she woke up as early as 4:50 am to prepare her husband’s lunch, has said the money realised from her handle will be shared with the orphanages.
Olaki, popularly known as Mummy Zee, made this known via her X handle on Monday.
PUNCH Metro reports that the blue checkmark indicates an account has subscribed to Premium and may represent an individual or an organisation.
The microblogging giant began its monthly advertising revenue payment scheme for verified content creators in August 2023, after the owner, Elon Musk, promised that only the content creators who were subscribers to X Blue would benefit from the scheme.
While reacting to another X user’s @Dprince_Charming suggestion that she should donate money realised from X Bluetick to an orphanage, she replied that “Elon’s money will be shared.”
@Dprince_Charming wrote, “If you later have a bluetick and when you get paid, I think it will be best to give a little money to the orphanage just to show appreciation for what Nigerians have done for you.
“Don’t misunderstand me; it’s your money. I’m not telling you what to do with your money. But at least that would be a very thoughtful thing for you to do.”
Reacting, Mummy Zee responded in the affirmative, stating, “Of course, Elon’s money will be shared. I’m working on the blue tick.”
PUNCH Metro reports that Mummy Zee became a social media sensation following her post, as she was criticised by some netizens for going to such lengths.
However, other users commended the woman and celebrated her dedication through several cash donations and other gifts.
On Sunday, PUNCH Metro reported that the chairman, Gtext Holdings, a real estate firm, Dr Stephen Akintayo, via his verified X handle, said Mummy Zee would be allowed to pick a plot of land in any estate in their city of choice.
Earlier on Saturday, @Kemsan_acres promised the ladyand her husband land in one of its estates in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
