Pastor David Ibiyeomie is the presiding Pastor of Salvation Ministries (Home of Success), one of the fastest growing and spreading churches in the world. He pastors millions of congregants spread across the globe with its headquarters currently located at Plot 17 Birabi Street, GRA Phase 1, Port Harcourt in Rivers State of Nigeria.

Pastor David Ibiyeomie was born in Bonny Island (present Bonny Local Government Area), Rivers State, Nigeria on the 21st of October, 1962 to the family of late Chief and Mrs. Apollos Iganibo of Bolo Town in Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area of Rivers State, Nigeria. His late father was in the service of former Shell B.P. His both parents were indigenes of Bolo Town.

David Ibiyeomie attended Banham Primary School, Port Harcourt, Rivers State from 1969 to 1974 for his Primary education. He went to Government Comprehensive Secondary School Borikiri, Rivers state between 1974 and 1979 for his secondary education. After then, he was admitted into Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt for a degree course in Microbiology in 1980. Years later, in recognition of his diligence and result oriented Ministry, the Bradley University of America awarded him an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Divinity on the 15th of May 2004.

Pastor David Ibiyeomie became born again in 1995. After he gave his life to Christ, he discovered his divine calling, and by the reason of that, he is a Pastor and teacher of the Gospel. David Ibiyeomie’s decision was influenced through divine guidance to be trained under a great servant of God, Bishop David Oyedepo.

He attended full time Bible School in the Word of Faith Bible Institute (WOFBI), an arm of David Oyedepo’s Ministries in 1995. In the course of his training, he was greatly influenced by Bishop Oyedepo’s Ministry standards and impact.

While in the Bible School, the vision to establish and run Church based ministry became very clear to him. Ibiyeomie started a house fellowship with his family in 1689B, Buraimo Kenku Street, Victoria Island, Lagos. He later moved to Port Harcourt, Rivers State, where he started Salvation Ministries (Glorious Chapel) on April 13, 1997, with 34 persons in attendance.

With the mandate TO ESTABLISH THE KINGDOM OF GOD ON EARTH through infallible proofs, David Ibiyeomie started Salvation Ministries, the Home of Success.

With over 20 years in ministry, he has become a phenomenon to the world. On the 13th of February 2011, the church started 14 satellite churches in one day, with all running five services each; a new record in the history of church growth. Today, David Ibiyeomie pastors millions of worshippers spread all over the globe through his television ministry, online ministration and with over 180 satellite churches within and outside the country and over 300 pastors assisting him.

As part of the divine vision received from God, David Ibiyeomie runs a virile television outreach named “Hour of Salvation” which started on NTA channel 10 Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria in 2001 and now runs in over 40 television stations locally and internationally.He also runs an online radio program on Salvation Radio which is listened to by millions of people all around the globe. David Ibiyeomie also hosts the 5 NIGHTS OF GLORY, a household program all-round the globe.

Due to his love and quest for knowledge and excellence, he established Chockhmah International Academy, the primary and secondary educational arm of Salvation Ministries. The PACE-SETTERS UNIVERSITY of the Commission is also currently under construction.

Backed up by God, David Ibiyeomie undertakes giant projects like building a mega cathedral that runs into millions of dollars, acquiring over 200 Hectares of land for the university project and constructing all at once without any foreign aid, bank loan or financial pressure.

His love for humanity has prompted him to send relief materials to flood victims and war-torn areas such as: Bayelsa, Jos and Liberia among others. He also helps the needy through his scholarship programs and welfare schemes. In 2016, he awarded scholarship to 634 students in primary, secondary and tertiary institutions. Committed to building a caring and loving Society, furnished with dignity and harmony, David Ibiyeomie, through Salvation Ministries renovated and donated modern hospital equipment worth over two hundred thousand U.S Dollars to the pediatric section of the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH) Nigeria; creating a wonderful ambiance to expedite the recovery of the patients. He also rebuilt the fence of the Central State Primary School, Igwuruta and reconstructed several roads in the city of Port Harcourt to make the environment more habitable.

He is currently building a home for the elderly in Port Harcourt which will be equipped with the state of the art facilities that will suit the personal needs of the senior citizens who require some assistance with daily activities and health care; so they can age with dignity.

He provided residential quarters, equipped with state of the art facilities for the staff and pastors’ comfort such as Glorious Court, Success Court, Kings’ Court and Teachers’ Quarters

David Ibiyeomie has an exceptional anointing on his life; a man of diverse parts, a revered authority in financial prosperity, success and divine healing; a great teacher of the Word and a man with an unusual relationship with the Holy Spirit. David Ibiyeomie is a Nigerian televangelist, and founder and senior pastor of Salvation Ministries, in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

In July 1997, the church relocated to a larger plot of land. As of 2017, Salvation Ministries averages about 50,000 attendees every Sunday at its headquarters. In February 2011, Salvation Ministries started 14 satellite churches in one day, with all running five services each.

Pastor David Ibiyeomie also runs one of the most vibrant bible schools called Word of Life Bible Institute (WOLBI). It is a non–denominational Institute where the word of God is taught with the aim of equipping Christians with the knowledge to handle issues of life with results.

The school runs three (3) different programmes – Basic Certificate Course, Advanced Certificate Course, Diploma Certificate Course. Since its inception in 1997, the school has produced thousands of exploits-bound scholars from various denominations.

Pastor David Ibiyeomie is known to be a philanthropist as he empowers the poor, widows, orphans, offers scholarships to indigents and housing for pastors. In 2004, Pastor David Ibiyeomie was awarded an honorary doctorate degree in divinity from the Bradley University of America.
