“Dress Up, And Show Up”-Nigerian Man Based In The UK Shares Reasons Why We Must Be Hopeful And Keep Going, Because We Are Still Alive For A Reason

Nigerian man named Toyyib Adewale Adelodun who is based in the UK has shared two scenarios why one must not give up in life. Using his life as example, the young man agrees that one is alive for a reason.

“We don’t know what the future holds, we just have to be hopeful and keep going, believing we are still alive for a reason.

If we know, then life has lost its meaning. I met a Pakistani one time and we got talking, he told me he moved to the UK in the 90s by sea. I asked how?

He said his uncle used to work at the shipping port in Karachi Pakistan. A ship came from Europe and one of the crew had a hernia that needed to be operated on in Pakistan, so they needed someone, that was how his uncle put him forward. He went around the world on this ship and came to Britian. That was how he met his wife. Such a beautiful story.

One of my first breaks in engineering came when I got a job that was a few weeks’ holiday cover. The owner of the job phoned that he was going to stay longer.

That was how I ended up spending about 6 months on the job, the reference there got me more. We don’t know what the future holds, we just have to be open-minded, dress up, and show up.
