Folorunsho Alakija is a Nigerian businesswoman and philanthropist.

She is the group managing director of The Rose of Sharon Group and the executive vice-chairman of Famfa Oil Limited.

Yesterday Nigeria celebrated independence day and the businesswoman celebrated the country with prayers on her Instagram page, sharing a photo where she wore a green blazer, she wrote:

“As we mark 63 years of independence, let’s pray for our beloved nation—prayer changes things. May God grant our leaders wisdom, grace, and courage to steer Nigeria towards greater heights. May we all contribute to the flourishing of our beloved nation in our own unique ways”.
