Why You Must First Believe In Yourself As An Entrepreneur – By Elora Akpotosevbe

If you are an entrepreneur, you must believe in yourself, your ideas, your efforts, because if you don’t, people would derail you, discourage you and you might just give up pretty soon.

As a blogger once in a while people would criticise my work. As the faces of everyone is different, so are their opinions different. Always have that at the back of your mind, because you can’t please everyone.

Some times I celebrate myself, even if no one does, because I see my determination, efforts, hard work, passion.

People can discourage you and make your work look futile, sometimes i am asked why there are hardly comments on my blog post, my post most of the time are inspirational. People comment more on gossip post and controversial topics.

I don’t let comments like this discourage me, are mine supposed to stop blogging because of that. I have seen billionaires on twitter with less followers or likes and comments but they’re still winning.

I am also asked to post a certain topic, and I just smile, I have my reasons for not posting certain topics. I don’t follow trends, I am different, %50 of the time I create my own contents.

Mind you, we bloggers know the post that brings the most traffic, as we see the traffic on every post we make, and this gives us the knowledge to post more of what would bring the traffic.

Have you ever wondered why you don’t see political news on some certain blogs, like Gistlover, Yabaleftonline, Kemi Filani blog? These blogs are focusing on topics that bring traffic.

Our young youths hardly reads political news, but rather prefer to read news from bbnaija, gossips: like broken marriages, death news, bad news in general, these post brings the traffic, hence bloggers focus on them cause it will boost their income.

So you seat and criticize people who are experienced in what they do, by bringing your own suggestions not knowing that they already know how it works.

I always celebrate myself first, I don’t ignore critics, it helps you in a way to atleast know some people’s mind. Most of all I would say my driving force, is people sending me messages that I am hardworking, they look forward to my post and they love to own a blog.
