Ben Murray Bruce Canvasses For Davido’s Cycling Fan, Emmiwuks, To Represent Nigeria At 2024 Olympics

Emmiwuks’ 15-day journey from Benue to Lagos, fueled by sweat and determination to meet Davido, ended in disappointment.

However, Ben Murray Bruce’s call for him to represent Nigeria in the Olympics beautifully exemplifies the age-old saying, “Man proposes, God disposes”

Indeed, fate has taken a remarkable turn for Emmiwuks. Originally, he set out on a journey from Benue to Lagos with the goal of meeting Davido, but now he finds himself destined to represent Nigeria in the upcoming Olympics.

Despite not having met the singer, Emmiwuks managed to connect with Ben Murray Bruce and engaged in a conversation with the Minister of Sports, both of whom provided him with assurances of competing on the international stage as a cyclist for Nigeria.

Emmanuel Myam, popular cyclist, recognized as Emmi Wuks, now stands at the threshold of representing Nigeria in the upcoming Olympics following a slight setback in his quest to meet his music idol, Davido.

The Benue Man recently shared a video of him stepping out of a car as he entered the Silverbird Galleria in Lagos, accompanied by a friend.

Inside the building, Emmiwuks is captured with a joyful expression on his face as he meets the founder of the Silverbird Group, Benedict Murray-Bruce.

The Nigerian business magnate and politician is seen making a phone call to the Minister of Sports, introducing Emmiwuks and explaining his incredible 15-day bicycle journey from Benue to Lagos.

Ben Murray Bruce suggested to the Minister that Emmiwuksb should be considered as one of the long-distance cyclists to represent Nigeria in the Olympics. The Sports Minister agreed and personally spoke with Emmiwuks, who was visibly thrilled at the prospect of cycling on the international stage.
