Nigerian author and social media influencer, Reno Omokri is in a celebratory mood as his 17-year-old daughter
Oritsetsolayemi just got admitted to the University of California, Berkeley, to read Film Production and Media.

He shared a photo of his daughter on Instagram and wrote:

I give gratitude to God for my firstborn child, Oritsetsolayemi, who, at 17, has made me a proud father by being admitted to the University of California, Berkeley, to read Film Production and Media. UC Berkeley is the eighth best university on planet Earth according to the Times of London World University Rankings.

I often travel with my lookalike daughter, and our global explorations have expanded our minds. And she has taught me that you can be driven and intelligent and still be humble.

She has made not just me but the Itsekiri people of Iwere Kingdom proud. A great-granddaughter of Olu Ikengbuwa II, Prince Moju. I call her my Olu Onobiren. Her ancestor, Olu Atuwatse I, was the first West African to graduate from university in 1611. Now, the baton is with her.

Tsola, may Almighty God bless all the works of your hand and may you be happy, fulfilled and prosperous for the rest of your life, in Yeshua’s Name. Today, I add a new name to your names-Èyé mi kpóró kpé wogua (my greater life is still ahead of me).
