Senior lecturer at Nottingham Business School in the United Kingdom, Dipo Awojide
has shared few motivating words to the youths on Instagram, while using his life as an example he encouraged the youths to embrace small income jobs as it will pave way for more bigger opportunities.

He concluded his post with motivating words that reads:

“Don’t despise your days of little beginnings. Everything adds up in the end”.

Sharing his story on Instagram, he wrote:

I used to work in IKEA after graduating with a Distinction in my MSc in 2011.

I was applying for graduate roles and nothing was forthcoming so I had to do this temporarily. I earned around £10/hour or so. Last year, I earned a six-figure income from all my activities.

One day you are an immigrant and the ‘next day’ you are settled into a fantastic career or running a small business or both. Life is in stages. Enjoy the entire process!

PS: That Customer Service job you are doing today to pay your bills might be useful in the future. It might be what you need to land your next big role. It’s the packaging that matters! Don’t despise your days of little beginnings. Everything adds up in the end!
