Read his post below:
Hi folks,
I’ve just been recently informed that my role at Microsoft has been impacted in the current wave of layoffs.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to make an impact at Microsoft and also grateful for the support of my manager, coworkers and friends at this time.
My former role was dynamic. I’m proud to have been the first technical trainer on my then small but elastic Microsoft Leap team in 2019, in our foray to upskilling and mentoring learners from all works of life, in Software Engineering, Data Analysis and Cloud Computing. Many of these learners are doing really well in many organizations of repute, in EMEA and the Americas.
As a trained software developer who prioritized the creation of enterprise apps on the .NET platform, I saw myself pivoting and becoming generalized into fields such as Cloud Architecting and Data Analysis in my vision to ensure learners across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) have the most relevant knowledge in their career progression.
Also, I synergized seamlessly with C-Suite executives, within and outside Microsoft in getting buy-ins for new learning and training initiatives.
If you’re looking for someone with not just the flair on those technical areas, but one who has the business perspective and cross-functional relationships to implementing same, especially regarding learning, mentoring, upskilling and training folks, and working as an individual in specific cloud architechting, data analysis and .NET development roles (roles I’ve trained others on), please reach out; Preferably but not restricted to Startups or fast-paced environments/teams.
I have 2 more months till my current role is officially over, so I crave for every support possible.
