Absolutely devastated to receive the news this morning that I was included in Meta’s second round of #layoffs.

I truly feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to work for such an amazing company. This is surely not how I imagined my time here to come to an end, but I’m happy to be able to look back on every minute with gratitude. I was lucky enough to work with some of the most talented people in the recruiting industry and hire some amazing engineers and leaders for Meta.

Thank you to everyone who played a part in my time at Meta – I sincerely hope that we have the opportunity to work together again.

The last (almost) 4 years have been nothing less than remarkable, and I can honestly say that I’m so proud of myself for how much I’ve grown personally and professionally. I started my journey here as a contract coordinator and worked so hard to reach multiple career milestones – converting to FTE and getting my foot in the door as a technical sourcer, transitioning to leadership hiring and becoming a recruiter, and the most recent just a few weeks ago with receiving my second promotion to a senior level.

With that said, I’m now #opentowork and can’t wait to see where my next adventure will be! Please feel free to reach out if you or anyone you know is hiring for #recruiting in the Greater Seattle Area or remote! 😊
