Nigerian Man named Tobi Oluwole has shared a motivational post that will encourage you to have an extra source of income apart from your job.

Tobi shared how the monthly income from his job gave him anxiety, but the moment he had an extra income everything changed, he took time to outline everything he was able to achieve with an extra income.

Last week we paid off my wife’s student loans completely!

It was a massive milestone but there’s more to the story.

In 2016, I got my first tech sales job with a $40k salary.

In 2019, I was earning $60k annually while contributing to my brothers tuition and planning a wedding.

My only source of income was from my job and that gave me anxiety.

Then in May 2020, I began creating content on LinkedIn everyday at 10am.

I have now done over 730 posts.

Since then my companies have helped hundreds of people start new careers, trained thousands for free and my content has been seen 104 million times.

Last month, I passed $600,000 in revenue just as a creator (outside of my full-time job).

The extra income has allowed my wife and I to:

• Buy our first & second home in Canada
• Put my brother through college
• Support our parents and grandparents
• Visit 19 different cities in 10 countries
• And now pay off my wife’s student loans.

We even surprised my dad with a plane ticket to Canada from Nigeria last Christmas so we could spend the holidays together for first time in 11 years.

Our quality of life has increased drastically and we sleep better.

The crazy thing is many of you have been here since the start of the journey.

I have learned so much building other sources of revenue WHILE growing in my full-time job.

(It’s very hard to do).

Most importantly, I feel a sense of fulfilment in everything I work on.
