“I Am Glad I Took That Bold Step”- Says Nigerian Lady Who Moved To Canada For Her Studies

Nigerian lady named Ololade Jaiyesimi has shared her career journey as she relocated to Canada for her studies, although she was discouraged by people, the young lady is glad for taking that bold steps.

Moving to Canada in 2022 was a very big decision for me, starting a new life in a new country all alone was very tough, but I’m glad I took that bold step.

Before moving to Canada, I got a lot of discouragement from people, especially when it came to deciding the course to study. I finally decided I was going to study International Business management which is where my passion lies.

As a graduate of English, with little or no background in Business Management and Commerce, this transition wasn’t the easiest however, I’m thankful my school had a good learning system which helped me adjust to my new area of interest.

I can say for a fact that this new life has pushed me away from my comfort zone, but it has been a beautiful experience so far.

From adopting to a new schooling system, to meeting people from different parts of the world, to networking and sharing ideas with like-minded people, and a whole lot of adventures, has been nothing short of amazing. I’m glad I made this decision and didn’t give in to my fear.
