Lauren Simmons became the youngest full-time female trader on Wall Street at the age of 22. She was also the second-ever black woman to work there full time.

Lauren Simmons graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in genetics and a minor in statistics. She met with the CEO of Rosenblatt securities, Richard Rosenblatt, who took her under his wing as an Equity Trader because of her confidence.

She had to pass the series 19 to step into this rare position. She successfully passed on her first try after studying the book cover to cover for a month straight. Simmons managed customer order flow with a notational value of over $150 million dollars daily as an NYSE equity trader. She also implemented across several financial sectors on behalf of buy-side and sell-side institutions.

At the age of 23, Lauren Simmons made history as the youngest female and the second-ever African American woman working as a trader at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in 225 years.

Lauren Simmons has featured on several media channels like CNN, ABC, CNBC, and FOX since her story became known. She is in track to become a millionaire.

According to CNBC Make It, she has gotten many deals on a movie, podcast, book and TV shows since she formed her company.

She has also landed brand deals and speaking engagements that can bring millions.
According to Lauren Simmons, her accumulation of wealth is due to the saving strategy she learned from her mother. She saved 85% of her income when she was working in New York City.
