Man Shares How His Dad Who’s A Farmer Escorted Him To The Airport & Cried Hard As He Relocates To Canada
A young man named Peter Bawuah, has shared how his dad Who’s a farmer escorted him to the airport and cried so much as he was relocating to Canada.
Read his post below as shared on LinkedIn:
THE SADDEST DAY IN MY LIFE WAS SEEING THE TEARS OF MY FATHER.
Growing up, my dad has been my anchor. His advice, motivation, and guidance have brought me this far. He has been my inspiration though he is a farmer. My dad never gave up on us. I used to cry and feel ashamed seeing my dad going to the farm every day and taking loans just to provide a better future for his children.
He loves his children and he has been my source of wisdom and encouragement. I quite remember my dad sold his mattress to pay for my Novdec exams. That was an indication that triggered me to push harder across the vicissitude of life.
Sometimes, he will walk to my school to check up on me without giving me money or provisions but I was always happy to see him.
On 3rd September, my dad cried like a child who is hungry for 3 days. He joined me at the airport to bless me and say goodbye to me. It was a difficult moment for me at that time because that was the first time he entered the airport.
My dad started to cry. Tears of joy. He never believed a day like this will come. Breaking the yoke of family bondage. I told him, daddy, there are reasons why it is you that gave birth to me.
God wanted my life to be a testament to his glory and reaffirm my determination and perseverance in the good pages of life to humanity.
He told me “Nana, when will I see you again? Go there and explore. Make our family, Ghana, Africa, and the world proud.” That advice reengineered my mindset that a lot of people will see the light through me and I refuse to be small.
Daddy, I want the world to know that your labour shall never be in vain. I don’t want you to die before I will celebrate you. You shall enjoy the fruit of your labour. A time is coming, all your problems will come to an end. God knows the best. I will make you proud. I will never forsake you. You’re always in my heart. Continue praying for me.
Because of me, you will dine with great people. I love you, daddy. Wherever you’re now, you are the best👏🏾❤️🥹
Never feel ashamed of your background and parents. I will take this opportunity to plead with you if you’re not in good terms with your parent, please go and seek for forgiveness. Their blessings are very powerful because they contain spirit and grace that protect and guide the path of their children.
Irrespective of how poor and vulnerable you’re parent are, never feel ashamed of them. Push harder and break that manacle of a family curse and liberate them from the jaws of poverty.
Don’t let them die before you celebrate them🎉🙏❤️
