Nigerian woman named Adebunmi Aiku has announced that she had the privilege to be called to the Ontario Bar on the (14th November 2022).

I had the privilege to be called to the Ontario Bar yesterday(14th November 2022).

My family arrived in Canada just before the pandemic, which means I wrote most of the exams while being a stay at home mum helping my children navigate online schooling.

I am glad to have come to the end of my licensing journey. I applaud myself for the hardwork I put in and I am grateful for the support system I had.

I was called to the Nigerian Bar November 2007 and exactly 15 years later I was called to the Ontario Bar. I am excited for new beginnings, new opportunities and new experiences.
