B.A English (FIRST CLASS HONOURS), University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
Officially a graduate! 💃💃

I express my sincere and profound gratitude to God for this great feat and achievement. I’m immensely blessed to have attended the first and best University in Nigeria- University of Ibadan. I’m grateful for the sound knowledge and character imbued in me by University. I have so many stories to tell, but I will just cut to the chase.

My journey before and after I got admission into the University of Ibadan was a rollercoaster- the loss of a loved one and some other unpalatable unforeseen circumstances. I had my intriguing and hectic moments.

God gave me divine strength at the University of Ibadan. I was involved in many activities. I was a member of NASELS Press. I was a member of ENACTUS- a student organisation committed to making societal and global impact. I served as the Choir Director of the Department’s Fellowship and I also pastored Obafemi Awolowo Hall in Baptist Student Fellowship. It wasn’t easy juggling academics and other activities. All I can say is that God did it!

Success does not happen with the stroke of a pen. Days of late night readings, working on assignments, group work, presentations wasn’t easy. I fell ill close to second semester exams, but I didn’t give up and I’m glad that my diligence paid off eventually. God’s grace, favour and mercy found me as well.

Ayomide also concluded her post by thanking her supervisor and parents.

Congratulations to her.
