Lady Who Gave Up The Dream Of Schooling Abroad Because She Made 2nd Class Lower, Succeeds As She Fulfills Her Dream
A young lady named Chimnonso Onyekwelu has shared how graduating from the University with second class lower hindered her chances of schooling abroad and she gave up, not until she visited her sister in London in year 2020, she’s now able to realise that dream. She went further to share a motivation on why one must never give up.

I gave up studying in the UK because I graduated with a 2nd class lower.
I’ve always wanted to do my master’s degree in the UK.
Not USA
Not Canada
Not Australia
The UK
I was very specific.
But then in 2015, I received my overall CGPA and it was 3.46 (2nd class lower)
I was devastated
Or better put, I was crushed as I knew that that was the end of my dream to study in Europe .
Why?
My parents didn’t have the money to send me abroad, so I had always known my chances of ever schooling in the UK was through a scholarship.
And now, I graduated with a second class lower. The fact that it was just a 0.4 margin that separated me from a 2.1 made no difference.
Or so I concluded.
What’s more? I didn’t know of any student who had ever gotten a scholarship on 2nd class lower grade.
So I packaged my dream, shoved it into a box and buried it in a place even I couldn’t reach.
Fast forward to 2020, I travelled to the UK to visit my sister in October of 2020.
What started out as a simple few months visit, resurrected the dream I had buried 5 years ago.
The rest is history.
This was a unique experience that thought me three vital things:
✅ Always have a dream, goal, or desire.
✅ Don’t ever give up on it even if all odds are against it
✅ Be observant and cease the moment when the opportunity comes.
Where there is a desire (will), there must be a way.
Have you given up on something before because you thought it was unattainable anymore?
