đź”·”I AM HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THAT I HAVE MOVED TO EUROPE ON A FULLY FUNDED SCHOLARSHIP…”
đź”·This was supposed to be my post since the past 4 weeks I have been offline.
July 2022, I received my scholarship letter which is considered to be one of the most breathtaking testimonies of my 2022 without knowing this joy going to be tested in the very hardest way, as the scholarship was paused due to some crazy conditions at the dying minute after my departure was rescheduled 8 good times within August to October.
Being raised in a God-conscious home taught me that no matter how irrelevant the matter is, I get to ask God “should I go or should I stay?”.
So it broke my heart more because this was the very first time in my 21 years of existence that I asked God this question , got an answer and ended up being so devastated but I chose to interpret it as ” God knows best”.
I did everything within my power to figure out how to sort the issue, being reduced to sleepless teary nights, screaming while in the bathroom, skipping meals, losing a lot of weight, getting knocked down by a vehicle twice because I was absent minded, seeing my mental gauge sink so low, getting angry at almost everything and everyone, not being able to deliver a single job or even write at all because my mind has been totally blank, trying my very best not to even ask God why. Trust me this felt like hell. I think the devil owes me a hell certificate.
So I decided to let go of my efforts and trust God completely. For the umpteenth, I am shameless to scream that “GOD NEVER FAILS”!!!!!!!
No you didn’t hear me well enough, I said “GOD NEVER LIES”!!!!
Dear LinkedIn, I am saying my first hello from Europe with so much humility and gratitude to God for showing up at the last minute. I feel blessed.
Chinonso also thanked her pastor and family for their support.
