Read his post below as shared on LinkedIn:

In 2020, I resigned from Paid Employment to Entrepreneurship.

The first 6 months was rough, I took a huge pay cut. Some months I got paid 50,000 Naira, other months, 20,000 naira and less.

At some point, I was bothered about rent; our office rent and my house rent, but one thing was constant I always enjoyed all the work I was doing and the impact we were making in the lives of our Alumni. Some of my close friends and relatives were very concerned and kept asking if i made the right decision but I was totally convinced within my spirit that my new path was leading to a destination of greatness!

Yesterday, our company Dataleum hosted our partners, Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF), Honeywell Group Limited and other stakeholders at the Orientation event of the Graduate Tech Trainee Program (GTT).

The GTT initiative is a 16 weeks Talent Development program that encompasses the training and mentoring of 78 Lagos State residents in Data Analytics, Soft Skills and Personal Branding.

I’m privileged and excited to be leading the execution of this project, facilitated by my team in collaboration with the Lagos State Government and one of the largest conglomerates in Nigeria.

Dear Amazing Youth, Never lose hope.
Change is hardest at the beginning, messiest in the middle and best at the end. Understanding your “Why” is crucial in every situation.

No matter what obstacles may try to distort your journey, keep plowing ahead because that’s the only way to keep the roads clear.

Hope this helps.
