PHD Candidate @ 22! 👩🎓
I’m elated and feeling incredibly blessed to share that my daughter, Adaeze resumed this Fall, as a PHD Candidate in Environmental Chemistry at the University of Georgia, Athens, USA 🇺🇸(ranked 16 Best College…)
She’s a child in whom I’m well pleased!
Bringing her up has been a delightful process/project which I had been intentional about from the day she was born, over 22 years ago. Investing in her spiritually, academically, morally and home-training her on principles and values needed to excel as a strong African woman had yielded more dividend than I expected, it got to a point that she became an inspiration to me, that I started looking up to her for motivation; roles switched there!
She’s my evidence that the word of God that says “train up a child, in the way he should go and he will not depart from it”, works!
She’s an epitome of beauty, intelligence and diligence, a focused and self-motivated young woman and has diligently been developing herself in all positive areas, she’s open to learning, takes correct instructions and never toyed with growing spiritually, her spiritual maturity is amazing…and her academic prowess is top notch, and first class!
I have so many praises and accolades to bestow on this illustrious daughter of mine who’s continuously after God’s own heart and her personal development…
I am grateful to God for gifting her to me and to the world at large…
I am grateful to God for the grace, the provision and the direction He provided through the whole application, admission and resumption process and I am grateful for the help that came from the loving people God placed in our lives who had contributed immensely in one way or the other to the actualization of this feat…
And I know that by the infinite grace and mercy of God, Adaeze is going to make great impact in this world…
I am a proud mum!
PS: I never knew the extent of my impact/influence on her, until I read her Statement of Purpose (SoP), I couldn’t hold back the tears…I’m most grateful to God for His Grace!
