Proud Lady Shares How The Pandemic Affected Her Career, Lands 2 Tech Job, Resumes At Microsoft

A young lady named Sindoora Ravikumar Murthy has shared the challenges she encountered during the pandemic and how it affected her career.

Sindoora who eventually landed two tech jobs has now resumed at Microsoft.

CONSISTENCY IS KEY! 👌🏻🙌🏼

Here’s my journey so far – I’d quit my job at Accenture – Bangalore, India, in the start of 2020, in hope that I’d fly to the US to start my Master’s program in Fall. But because of the ‘pandemic’, I had to defer an entire semester.

So, in those horrifying 8-9 months, I had,
❌NO JOB
❌NO INTERVIEWS BECAUSE OF HIRING FREEZE
❌NO VISA
❌NO U.S. CONSULTE OPEN IN INDIA, INDEFINITELY

I’d truly lost all sense of purpose because of so many uncertainties. I din’t know what my future held.

But there was just one thing on my mind – I have to make it big, like my father, the world’s greatest Computer Scientist, who has given me EVERYTHING & MORE.

I started Yoga-training, I channelized my energy there. Through everyday practice and the consistency with which I followed my routines, I realized that NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU FALL TRYING TO PERFECT AN ASANA, YOUR BODY WILL ONLY LEARN, ADAPT & MARVEL YOU WITH YOUR OWN CAPABILITIES.

✅I applied this in my life – I took it as a challenge , I faced all my obstacles and when I finally got to the The University of Texas at Arlington for my Master’s degree, I not only excelled and graduated in 1.5 years, half year less than expected but also bagged 2 job offers in top tech companies.

All my life I’ve looked upto legends like Steve Jobs & Bill Gates, and today I’m so so proud to have fulfilled my goal & also to have walked in my father’s footsteps.
