The Professional Journey So far!

The past twelve months (June 2021-June 2022) was a remarkable year in my career development. I did my one-year graduate internship in the oil and gas precisely ExxonMobil Upstream Nigeria.

First, the internship confirmation mail made me smile, my joy had no bounds as I was successful after the rigorous selection processes – online application, interview, and medical test. Yes, I made it. All glory to God for his grace. My academic excellence and previous work experience distinguished me from other applicants.

Fast forward to the training period, I was thrilled by the firm’s complex organizational structure yet swift in carrying out their operations safely. All these were actualized through employing the right project management techniques. I was involved with the tracking of equipment and materials in my unit.

It was rigorous and interesting at the same time. In all I will like to say that when the right project management strategies are employed, little efforts will yield very big results.

I really appreciate the staffs who impacted and advised me during my stay. Your contributions will never be taken for granted. Thank you ExxonMobil for giving me the platform and opportunity to work with you, it’s forever memorable.

Now, I have successfully completed my internship which can be summarized as: I went, I saw and I conquered. Now, the next phase of my career has kicked off to the Glory of God. Masters in Infrastructure Planning (MIP), University of Stuttgart . I look forward to another success story and deeper dive in my profession.

Don’t give up on your dream!!!

Congratulations to her.
