“Wrote JAMB For 7 Years, Lost Dad, Financial Woes” – Lady Who Graduated With 2.1 Highlights Struggles She Faced, Celebrates At NYSC Camp
A lady has taken to Twitter to speak about the struggles she had to face to get to where she currently is now. With the handle @teeecookie, she is seen celebrating her National Youths service year with photos and while doing that, she has used the platform to narrate the woes and challenges she faced along the way.
According to her, she had to write JAMB more than five times before eventually gaining admission into the university but in between sitting for UTMEs, she lost her dad to the cold hands of death.
In her words:
“Finished secondary school 12 years ago. Jamb jambed me for 7 good years. Dad died in between. Got admission 2016. Struggled to pay acceptance and school fees. Corona delayed me for another 1 year. No carry overs from 100-400 levels. Graduated with 2.1. Finally I’m here!
Her story is that of resilience, perseverance, patience, and determination. She had regardless of the challenges become who she is. She did not let her situation deter her from studying to become a graduate.
