dreamscometrue
I heard Mr Peter Obi was coming to Frankfurt late Wednesday and knew it would be a rare opportunity to present an autograph copy of my book to him.
Then I did the autograph (previous post), went early to the venue and waited.
It seemed like an impossibility after approaching the moderator and in his word “you have to find a way”
Haaa, me that is rugged to the core, if na way, we go find am (pigin english)
So I waited…
and waited-
One thought kept saying “Oga dey your seat o to avoid embarrassment”
If embarrassment will be the cost to hand over my signed book copy to this Amazing Amazing personality, I will pay in tripple-
Without too much planning I took the slightest path that open and fiam (pigin english) I was already at the front handing over my signed copy and also received a handshake (me am not washing my hand tonight, no vex, I just shook hands with Nigeria’s incoming president).
So my people na so e be o
Goal set-
Goal achieved with bonus
Omo see the smile on his face as Mr Peter Obi saw my book cover and read the autograph.
My day is complete even more so this is happening in the week of #dekemp3 celebration.
Isn’t God wonderful 🥳🥳🥳🥳
Make I go house, God made it possible
So dear #mentees #linkedinfam #connections abeg join me celebrate this my once in a lifetime achievement.
Just the thought that Nigeria’s incoming president will be reading my book (most likely) on his next flight feels my heart with so much joy.
My lesson today to you is that you should never ever let anyone stop you on your goal.
If you set your mind to it, no matter how unachievable it might look, take the first step of faith and you will figure the rest as you go.
Till We All Win
