After Reading An Article That Namibia Does Not Produce It’s Own Toothpicks, She Was Inspired To Start Making Toothpicks, Meet Nadapewa Embula

This Namibian entrepreneur was inspired to start making toothpicks after she read an article that Namibia 🇳🇦 does not produce its own toothpicks.

Nadapewa Embula, after struggling to find employment as a graduate she decided to start her own business, and the solution was turning camel thorn tree into toothpicks.

To enable Embula to pay off her outstanding student loan,she acted on the idea and to an extent created employment for herself.

Embula started operations in February 2019, and her clients include individuals, and even a few tuck and home shops.

Her goal is to have her toothpicks on every dining table – at all restaurants and hotels, especially establishments serving African cuisine.
