She went further to narrate how the journey has been long and hard, but she’s grateful for every moment.

Sharing her testimony on LinkedIn, she wrote:

Almost a year after I had an offer from Meta(Facebook) in South Africa rescinded, I got the same role at TikTok in the UK. The journey has been long and hard, but I’m grateful for every moment.

In typical LinkedIn fashion 😄, I am humbled, excited and happy 😁 to announce that I’ve joined TikTok as a Client Solutions Manager. The phrase “when one door closes, another one opens” literally came alive for me in this period.

I’m super thankful to my friends and family, who encouraged me through the twists and turns that was this journey. Without you, I wouldn’t be here.
