“Take The Leap & Trust The Process”- Lady Who Relocated Her Family Because Of A New Job Shares Motivation
A young lady named Shantia Coley, Esquire has shared few motivating words as she celebrates almost one year of relocating with her family to start a new job.
Sharing how it all started on LinkedIn, she wrote:
This past year I took a job 11 hours away from all that I knew and moved my family away. We sold our home in the midst of the pandemic and bought a new one (it only took looking at 43 homes and being outbid 5 times. No big deal, right?). My twins started new schools and I began a new more senior level role.
I often questioned my career decision and wondered if I was insane as I fell in and out of depression.
Now, as we near one year of relocation, I am so thankful for my ability to do hard things. My new space and life are bustling with love and joy. I’ve met wonderful, inspirational friends who I feel I’ve known forever and although my role is challenging, I’m showing up and showing out.
Moral of the story? Take the leap and trust the process. You’ll ALWAYS land on your feet, I promise! You, too can do hard things. ❤️
