“Last Week, I Became The First Black Brazilian Ever To Graduate From Harvard”- Man Celebrates His Graduation

A Brazilian man named Arthur Abrantes it’s excited at the moment, says he’s the first Black Brazilian ever to graduate from Harvard College.

He dedicated his achievement to his father Wariston Abrantes, who passed away during my sophomore year.

Sharing on LinkedIn, he wrote:

Last week, I became the first Black Brazilian ever to graduate from Harvard College. I dedicate this achievement to my father Wariston Abrantes, who passed away during my sophomore year.

My Dad didn’t have the opportunities I did, but he paved the way for me. Thank you, Dad! I miss you.
