“First In My Family To Earn A PhD” – Proud Lady Celebrates, Starts New Job At University Of Chicago As A Researcher
A young lady named Jasmine Nicole Olivier it’s elated at the moment.
Jasmine narrated how
few weeks ago, she made history by being the first in her family to earn a PhD and the first to earn not one, but two degrees from Harvard University.
The testimony didn’t end there as recently she started her full-time job as a Researcher at Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago.
Sharing the amazing testimonies with friends on LinkedIn, she wrote:
Just a few weeks ago, I made history by being the first in my family to earn a PhD and the first to earn not one, but two degrees from Harvard University.
The good news doesn’t stop there. In addition to serving as Senior Research Advisor in a contract role amongst my wonderful and brilliant colleagues at We The Protesters – Campaign Zero since March, I recently started my full-time job as a Researcher at Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago where I will have the opportunity to conduct impact driven research to reduce youth homelessness.
So grateful to have so many blessings coming my way after many years of hard work and sacrifice. Especially thankful to have such supportive colleagues, mentors, family members, and friends in my corner. It’s only up from here.
Signed,
Dr. Jasmine Nicole Olivier
